PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
S.T. Rayburn concentrates his practice in the area of business and commercial litigation.
He previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sul Ozerden, Chief U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi. Mr. Rayburn received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he was an Executive Articles Editor on the Mississippi Law Journal, a Student Executive Articles Editor on the Federal Courts Law Review, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and a member of the Mississippi Moot Court Board. He also completed externships with the Honorable Josiah Coleman of the Mississippi Supreme Court, the Honorable Robert Q. Whitwell of the 18th Chancery District of Mississippi, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee.
Prior to law school, Mr. Rayburn graduated from Mississippi State University, where he double majored in Economics and Communications with a concentration in Journalism. He also served as the Sports Editor of The Reflector, Mississippi State’s student newspaper.
