Dakota Beasley

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dakota Beasley concentrates her practice in real estate and secured lending and corporate and business transactions.  Dakota advises individuals, businesses, lenders, and other clients on a broad range of transactional matters, helping clients navigate legal and business issues with clarity and confidence.

Dakota currently serves as the President Elect of the University of Memphis Law Alumni Board, as well as the 2026 Chair of the Pillars of Excellence Committee.  She also serves as the CLE Co-Chair for the Association of Women Attorneys.

She graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she simultaneously received her Master of Business Administration from the Fogelman College of Business.  While in law school she served as the President of the Student Bar Association and was a legal intern at FedEx Corporate on both the corporate integrity and compliance team, and the legal sales transactions & alliances team.

Prior to law school, Dakota graduated from Mississippi State University where she majored in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, and received minors in Marketing and Spanish.

Dakota grew up in Memphis and graduated from St. Mary’s Episcopal School.
