PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sara McKinney concentrates her practice in business and commercial litigation. Ms. McKinney represents both small and large companies in matters including contract disputes, commercial real estate disputes, employment discrimination claims, medical malpractice and construction disputes. Ms. McKinney is committed to thoughtful, client-focused advocacy and active engagement in the Memphis legal community.

Ms. McKinney currently serves as the Parliamentarian on the Executive Board for the Association of Women Attorneys. She also serves on the University of Memphis Law Alumni Board and the Pillars of Excellence Planning Committee.

She graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where she received her business law certificate and served as the Secretary for the Student Bar Association. While in law school, she was an intern at FedEx Logistics where she focused on international compliance matters.

Prior to law school, Ms. McKinney graduated from the University of Tennessee where she majored in Political Science with a minor in Psychology.
